An event “Rural Diversity” was organized by Elkana in order to promote rural tourism and traditional organic production in rural area.

At the event “Elkana” member farmers produce were presented which one can buy in the

supermarkets of Tbilisi or though “Begeli” Ltd. “Begeli” also introduced its new service –

online sales to the guests and make a short presentation. see details at www.begeli.ge

Participants were kindly invited to taste traditional Georgian meals made from indigenous varieties of wheat, millet, hog millet, horse bean, chickpea and lentil.

Guests enjoyed the company of local craftsmen, heard Georgian folk songs performed by “Elkana” member farmers and had a chance to win interesting prizes.
